DJ Nu-Mark is combating the coronavirus blues by revisiting old mixes and putting them on his Bandcamp page. Last week, the Jurassic 5 turntablist shared the 2011 Take Me With You mix featuring two roughly 39-minute parts.

As he explained on Instagram, “‘Take Me With You’ is a mix incorporating international genres….Cumbia, Samba, Calypso, Salsa, Afro-Cuban, Afrobeat, Rumba and much more. The mix was originally designed for your road trip/air travel. This will help pass the long days! Available now @bandcamp LINK IN MY BIO. #QuarantineGardens #TakeMeWithYou.”

Speaking to RealStreetRadio, Nu-Mark explained why he chose this particular mix to share.

“‘Take Me With You’ is usually said by good friends that wish they could tag along and enjoy your exotic trip when you leave home,” he tells DX. “We’re all home now and on this musical departure to Brazil, Africa, Cuba, Latin America and many other hidden worlds. Enjoy some Cumbia, Salsa, Merenge, Calypso, Afro-Cuban and Afrobeat from me….DJ Nu-Mark! Travel safe.”
