You would think that anyone who tweets using The Source’s Twitter account would know at least the basics of Hip Hop history but nope.

Over the weekend, someone who people thought was affliated with the Hip Hop magazine said they didn’t know that DJ Jazzy Jeff, of the rap duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, was an actual DJ.

“Wait DJ Jazzy Jeff is a real DJ? Lol thought [that] was just his title on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” read the tweet, which has since been deleted.

Jeff eventually blasted the publication, according to AllHipHop, before someone who actually seems to work for The Source said they were hacked. Fans ripped them as well.

“NAH: YOU KNOW BETTER !!!  THAT WAS SOME HACK SH*T.  YOU BEEN IN THE SOURCE MANY TIMES AS A DJ !!!”tweeted someone from the magazine. “YOU KNOW BETTER KING — THIS IS NOT HOW WE TALK AT @THESOURCE – NAH !!!”

Jeff then said it’s all good and no love was lost.
