Did Shaq Do Shannon Sharpe In?

Shannon Sharpe has stepped away from ESPN after by sued for rape by his much-younger ex girlfriend.

Now, a clip from last month of Matt Barnes revealing Shaq had put money on the street for information on Unc has rememerged.

Last month a leaked audio clip surfaced of former NBA player Matt Barnes claiming that Shaquille O’Neal was willing to pay large sums of money to uncover negative information on his rival, Shannon Sharpe. “I was in a group chat the other day and Shaq said he’s paying top dollar for information on [Sharpe],” Barnes said. “He’s throwing large sums of money around.  I just want to put that out there.  He said Shannon did some sh*t to him a while back.”

While one might think this is about a woman, given both Shaq and Shannon’s sloppiness concerning the opposite sex, it might be more of a professional beef.

Shaq didn’t like it when Sharpe suggested Shaq supported Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s MVP candidacy because he was jealous of Nikola Jokic.
