Posters for an upcoming album with a Diana Ross and Tame Impala collaboration have appeared around London, with additional surprise features.

After being previously rumored, the collaboration between Diana Ross and Tame Impala is almost here. Over the weekend, Londoners discovered psychedelia, festival-reminiscent posters listing the collaboration as part of an upcoming album, along with features from Thundercat, H.E.R., Tierra Whack, Kali Uchis and more. According to Rolling Stone, the posters also include a tiny illustration of a Minion character, likely teasing the soundtrack for Minions: The Rise of Gru.

With the album being produced by Jack Antonoff, last year, People reported that Minions: The Rise of Gru will boast “a 1970s-inspired soundtrack.” A recent recipient of the Songwriter Award at the 2022 BandLab NME Awards, Antonoff last collaborated with Ross on her 2021 comeback album Thank You and according to The Sun, Ross and Tame Impala recorded their collaboration last year. Tame Impala is currently on tour in support of their 2020 album The Slow Rush.

“Diana might be 77 but she is determined to push musical boundaries and challenge herself. She loves reinvention and melting genres together,” a source told The Sun. “She’s really excited to work with Tame Impala, and is ecstatic with the track. She can’t wait for fans to hear it.”

Additional features on the album include RZA, Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire, St. Vincent, Gary Clark Jr., Brittany Howard, Jackson Wang, Heitor Pereira, Bleachers and BROCKHAMPTON, who announced their final album at Coachella last month.

Minions: The Rise of Gru premieres in theaters on July 1.
