Conway The Machine Finally Makes His Shady Records Debut with ‘God Don’t Make Mistakes’

His Shady Records debut, new Conway the Machine album God Don’t Make Mistakes features Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Jill Scott, T.I. and more.

Just one year after dropping From King to a GOD, Conway the Machine declares that God Don’t Make Mistakes. The former Griselda rapper marks his Shady Records debut (and final album on the roster) following recent singles “Piano Love” and “John Woo Flick” featuring Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher. Production on the album is courtesy of The Alchemist, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Bink!, Beat Butcha, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and more.

With 12 tracks, God Don’t Make Mistakes features appearances from Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, T.I., Jill Scott, Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher, Beanie Sigal and more. On Monday, Conway released mixtape Greetings Earthlings as a pre-album appetizer, rapping over instrumentals from Baby Keem, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and more.

God Don’t Make Mistakes also comes after Conway’s La Maquina mixtape in 2021 where guests 2 ChainzLudacrisJID and others appeared.

After dropping God Don’t Make Mistakes, Conway subsequently announced his 17-date Love Will Get You Killed World Tour which begins Friday, March 25th in Amsterdam and ends May 8th in Montreal. Tickets for the tour are now available on Conway’s official website.

In a recent interview on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, Conway spoke about departing Shady Records and Griselda Records.

Yeah, like sitting right here right now, I’m not on a contract with Griselda, Shady none of that shit no more — it’s free agency right now you heard,” Conway said. “I need that supermax man, I need that Giannis [Antetokounmpo] bag.”
