Cardi B’s best friend Yonette “Star Brim” Respass got a year and a day in prison and three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to Federal RICO charges this week.
Brim was one of 18 5-9 Brims, a Blood arrested by the Feds for RICO and other crimes in 2020
She was said to be the highest-ranking female in the set.
Many folks thought the sentence was light, and the snitch tag has been thrown around.
Brim, who hasn’t reported to prison yet, pushed back on that and confirmed Cardi hooked her up by paying her 350K legal fees.

“There is no backtracking. Everybody who was talking sh*t putting ill information on me, false information out on me, there’s no coming back. I don’t want to hear I’m sorry because real n*ggas deal with paperwork. And I’m never going to let somebody talk sh*t on my name,” Brim said.
