Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are teaming up for a new single called “WAP,” which is scheduled to arrive later this week.

On Monday (August 3), the Invasion of Privacy rapper shared the single’s cover art featuring Meg and Cardi looking like carbon copies of each other. At first glance, it’s easy to think they’re the same person but upon closer inspection, both of their names appear on the neon pink background.

Cardi wrote in the caption, “WAP THIS FRIDAY!”

Ahead of its release, Cardi announced signed vinyl, cassette and CD copies of the song were available on her website, but that led to some technical difficulties.

“Everything was going great till my damn website crash,” she tweeted. “I was happy cause it crash cause of the live but now I’m tight cause I’m trying to get it fix .STAY ON DECK GUYS .It finna be up and running !”

As Cardi scrambled to get the website going again, she fielded a few questions from her fans and assured them she was on it. When one Twitter user asked, “How am I number 12626 in line to get into Cardi’s website, this is so rude,” Cardi replied, “Don’t worry I’m cursing the tech people as I type.”

After the Grammy Award-winning rapper rectified the problem, it was business as usual and she got back to promoting the song. “WAP” will serve as Cardi’s first new music since “Press” arrived in May 2019. The track marks the first pre-release single from her upcoming sophomore effort, which is expected to be released later this year.

Meanwhile, “WAP” will arrive on Friday (August 7). Until then, check out some of the reactions to the impending collaboration.
