Trippie Redd took a moment to boast about his accomplishments in response to a Twitter jab from Yung Bleu.

Bleu insulted the 10K Projects artist while expressing his excitement over Drake jumping on the remix of his song “You’re Mines Still.” During an exchange with a Twitter follower, the Boosie Badazz protégé referenced Trippie missing an opportunity to appear on Drake’s hit single “God’s Plan.”

“Ain trippie drake told me to let y’all no I wasn’t gone even say shit!” Bleu tweeted. “thanks ! Tune in Friday.”

Trippie reacted via Instagram, sharing multiple screenshots of his gold and platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He also threw a shot back at Bleu, noting he didn’t need the 6 God’s help to move units.

“Niggas be right fr they could never be me,” he wrote. “I ain’t need the hottest nigga in the game for this either lil 20 piece of new plaques I’m heading into the 40s now.”

Bleu’s collaboration with Drake is scheduled to drop on Friday (October 16). Earlier this year, he mentioned how would handle the opportunity to work with Drizzy in an interview with HipHopDX.

“I don’t really be thinking about who I can get on this beat or who can hop on with me,” he said. “Now if somebody like Drake or some shit reach out to me, hell yeah, I’m going to be like, ‘Hell yeah, let’s do it.’ But as far as just hitting somebody or just saying I want to work with somebody, nah.”

Trippie is preparing for the release of his new album Pegasus, which is due out on October 30. The 26-track LP features guest appearances by Lil Wayne, Future, Young Thug, Quavo, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Busta Rhymes and Chris Brown, among others.
