The duo has also released lead-single “No Gold Teeth.”

A press release for No Cheat Codes explains that it’s “an album untethered to any genre, era or trend — uncategorizeable and timeless. It is the sound of the pair observing their own culture and asking questions they still may not have the answers to.”

In 2020, Black Thought visited Ebro in the Morning where he first announced his collaborative album with Danger Mouse, originally titled Dangerous Thoughts.

“It’s a return for [Danger Mouse] to hip-hop and to sampling in this way. It’s a feel-good record. It’s a record for people who got into hip-hop and sort of evolved at the same period of time that we did. We’re the elder statesmen at this point, so I feel like this record is reflective of that, too,” he said.

No Cheat Codes is currently available for pre-order on vinyl, cassette and CD, and fans can also purchase an exclusive signed and numbered vinyl test pressing featuring a limited edition slipmat. The album releases Friday, August 12th.
