Griselda did a wonderful job of building their brand over the last few years and they did it slowly by releasing one solid project after another.

The way Benny The Butcher sees it, the label showed a bunch of rap crews how to be successful, and he believes they should receive more credit.

“I just want to make a public service announcement real quick,” said Benny on Instagram Live. “I know a lot of these n*ggas been putting out tapes, a lot of these n*ggas been doing their sh*t, but Griselda is still the standard. We inspired these n*ggas; we made these n*ggas believe they could do this sh*t. These n*ggas aint think they could do it … these n*ggas  gave up. We told them, nah fight … I don’t be hearing no thank yous from these n*ggas. These n*ggas say everything but f*cking thank you. I wanna start hearing thank you from these n*ggas.”

Do you think Griselda deserves more credit for inspiring other rap crews?
