It’s been six-months since Coolio passed away, and we now have the cause of death.Â
Back in September 2022, the 57-year-old rapper was visiting a friend in Los Angeles and decided to go use the bathroom. Â
When Coolio didn’t return in a normal period of time, his friend went to check on him and found him on the bathroom floor.
He was pronounced dead when the EMTs arrived, and cardiac arrest was suspected.Â
Today, TMZ released the autopsy findings, and according to them, Coolio died of a fentanyl overdose.
He also had traces of heroin and methamphetamines in his system.
