University of Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter and potential number one pick Jalen Carter has a warrant out for his arrest for an incident that killed a UGA teammate and staffer.
Police say Carter was drag racing with Chandler LeCroy, a UGA recruiting analyst, when LeCroy lost control of his vehicle. Â LeCroy and UGA OL Devin Wilcock died in the crash.
The race took place on January 15, less than a week after UGA won the national championship over TCU.
Carter’s warrant is for “reckless driving and racing.”
LeCroy was legally drunk and the time of the crash, which investigators have determined was a result of alcohol impairment, speed, racing, and reckless driving.
