DJ Akademiks isn’t done talking about Meek Mill. On Friday (June 26) the host took to his Twitch stream to air out his past (online) run-ins with Meek, and point out the various times that Meek was hypersensitive about being posted on Akademiks’ page.
“You don’t know how to take a joke, and you don’t know how to work this shit,” AK shouts, telling Meek that he hasn’t learned how to use the Internet, as he cites scuffles that Meek had with others, including the recent Trey Songz fiasco.
He also accused the DreamChasers boss of being obsessed with preserving his tough image, yet running away from any beef with anyone from the streets.
“I’ve never seen Meek Mill press an actual gangsta,” he complained. “But they can’t wait to run into the blog nigga. I’ve never seen Meek do nothing to another hood nigga,” the Everyday Struggle co-host spat.
AK ranted for over 20 minutes straight, even managing to clown Meek for comparing Instagram to the “streets,” and calling Meek Mill a “sensitive gangster.”
View this post on InstagramSo.. y’all remember when meek told me to stop posting him and I did.. then he went on philly radio complaining that I ain’t posting his album… well today he asked that I stopped posting him. And I’ll gladly oblige … I don’t need no artist who don’t wanna be on platform. ✌️there will no more meek mill posts after this on my platform. Too many other lit rappers for me to cover ✊?✊?
The two have a history of internet quarrels, often instigated by Akademiks’ close relationship with Tekashi 6ix9ine. Meek Mill previously asked Akademiks to stop posting about him, yet allegedly was displeased with Akademiks’ page not covering his album.
