West Hollywood, CA – Meek Mill reportedly instigated the shouting match with his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj and her new husband Kenneth Petty at Maxfield in West Hollywood last week. According to TMZ, as soon as Nicki and Petty walked into the store, Meek instantly stared them down, prompting the couple to react.
This grossly contradicts Meek’s reported version of events. He allegedly said Petty approached him aggressively but in an attempt to smooth out the situation, he asked to speak to Petty privately.
In a video of the confrontation, Petty can be heard shouting, “You ain’t talking to her no more! You can’t talk to me one-on-one!” But sources close to the situation reportedly said the Championships mastermind never requested the one-on-one.
Meek and Nicki broke up in 2017. Since then, he’s been accused of still harboring feelings for her, which he denies.
Nicki and Petty, an old childhood flame, got married last fall. The two parties happened to be in the same place at the same time last week. During the verbal altercation, Petty calls Meek a “pussy” and Meek returns the sentiment. Nicki can also be heard calling Meek a “bitch.”
