For the third straight month,  Spotify has removed notable streaming volume from tracks and artists for suspicion of bot usage.

They don’t name the artists that were hit with reduction, but DJ Akademiks claims Kendrick Lamar was one of them.

His evidence is that K. Dot monthly listeners on Spotify dropped from 110 million to 98 million (whereas Drake stayed at 78 million.)

While that could be a botting situation, it could also be that Kendrick is shedding monthly listeners as his new album and his Super Bowl performance are further in the rear view mirror.
