Nelly may be the new Chrisette Michele.

Michele is the soul singer who was pretty much canceled for performing at Donald Trump’s inaugural ball in 2017.

As for Nelly, he performed at Trump’s Liberty Ball last month and caught a huge amount of backlash. The St. Louis rapper then defended himself by saying he performed because he respects the presidency.

But people still bashed him, and Janelle Monáe did the same last night at a Grammy afterparty.

She was performing with Anderson .Paak in West Hollywood at the time and dissed Nelly badly.

“F*ck you Nelly,” she yelled into the microphone.

But Monáe wasn’t done there.

“I used to like Nelly but then he went to perform for Donald Trump / F*ck that n*gga / I don’t give a f*ck / F*ck you Nelly / You sold out / I used to think you was cool / But now you look like a motherf*cking fool,” she rapped.

Nelly hasn’t responded yet, but he might. What do you think about Monáe dissing him?
