“Lollipop” was the biggest hit of Lil Wayne’s career, spending five weeks atop the Hot 100.

According to Pleasure P, he wrote the track but never got credit or money for doing so.

“Wayne.  Mack Maine.  I need my plaque for this song bro,” The Pretty Ricky singer said while “Lollipop” played.  Before my first album came out, I wrote this song with Static.  Just give me what I deserve bro.  I wrote this.  I’m a part of his biggest record.  1.3 million first week and I haven’t been able to celebrate that.  $28 million dollars, I ain’t get.”

“Lollipop” on Carter III features Static Major, also listed as a co-writer.

Static is dead, so he can neither confirm nor deny P’s claim.

Do you think he’s telling the truth?
