It’s been six days since Drake dissed Kendrick Lamar on “Push Ups,” and Kendrick has yet to respond.

This is surprising as Drake’s diss was pretty effective, and Kendrick has a reputation to keep up.

There may be a reason for his reticence.

According to Mal, Kendrick’s has an album coming in May, and he wants to hold off on his Drake diss until then so he can use it as promo.

Kendrick’s last album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, was his last on TDE.

On “Push Ups,” Drake alleges Kendrick was controlled by TDE boss Top Dawg, who also took 50 percent of his earnings.

It’s unclear if he still has his hand in Kendrick’s pockets.
