Carl Crawford, CEO of 1501 Certified Entertainment, has admitted wrongdoing in his long-running beef with Megan Thee Stallion, who he signed.

It all started when Megan accused Crawford of blocking her from releasing new music after she tried to renegotiate her contract.

The ex-Major League Baseball player also said that Jay-Z’s Roc Nation signed her to a management deal without him even knowing about it.

All of that led to legal action being taken, plus, an online back-and-forth between the rapper and CEO.

Crawford even posted footage of himself hanging out with Tory Lanez, who was accused of shooting Megan, before being found guilty for it in December 2022.

The label exec spoke about the beef with TMZ and explained some of the “mistakes” he made.

“I never had any problems with Megan Thee Stallion. It’s just the social media stuff, it turned really, really sour,” said Crawford. “You take this social media part out of it, we don’t have a problem … I’m done with that … You not going to hear me mention Megan Thee Stallion name in the media unless I’m doing something like this.  You not going to see me texting or making a post or doing any of that stuff that would cause social media to go crazy.”

Crawford spoke about posting that Tory Lanez video as well and said he did it just to be “petty.”
