Brandy Goes After Jack Harlow With ‘First Class’ Freestyle

After Brandy said that she would “murk” Jack Harlow in a rap battle, the singer released a diss track over Harlow’s hit single “First Class.”

Brandy kept her promise. One week after Jack Harlow went to Hot97 show Ebro In the Morning and denied knowing that the Grammy-winning singer was behind the 1998 hit “Angel in Disguise,” and is also the older sister of Ray J, Brandy Norwood has clapped back with a diss track over Harlow’s single “First Class.”

In less than two minutes, Norwood runs through her extensive resume in the “First Class” freestyle.

“Painted pictures, Cinderella scriptures, but that don’t mean jack in the streets/Jack of all trades/Now I’m here jackin’ for beats,” Norwood raps, cleverly alluding to Harlow.

While Harlow stopped by Ebro In the Morning to promote his sophomore album Come Home the Kids Miss You, the crew played ‘White-ish Wednesday’ to see if Harlow recognized Norwood on her Never Say Never single “Angel in Disguise.”

Co-hosts Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg hinted that, “Her brother is the reason a lot of people are famous,” and “Her brother has an amazing sex tape.”

Taking the hint that the reference was geared toward Ray J‘s involvement with The Kardashians, Harlow asked, “Who is Ray J’s sister?”

“It’s Brandy,” responded host Laura Stylez.

“Brandy and Ray J are siblings? Nobody’s ever told me that in my life. Nobody’s ever told me that. Y’all got a good clip off that one. Ray J and Brandy are siblings? I had no idea, bruh,” replied Harlow.

The segment went viral, and Norwood promptly responded to Harlow on Twitter.

Harlow has since responded to the singer in an Instagram story over the 2005 Kanye West collaboration “Bring Me Down.”
