Pusha T Reveals Cover and Tracklist for ‘It’s Almost Dry’

Ahead of the Friday release of It’s Almost Dry, Pusha T has shared the final tracklist, with appearances from Ye, Lil Uzi Vert and more.

We’re just days away from new Pusha T album, It’s Almost Dry. On Tuesday, the rapper went to social media to reveal the album’s cover created by visual artist Sterling Ruby and final tracklist, with appearances from JAY-Z, Ye, Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, his twin brother and Clipse member No Malice and more.

On Monday, the rapper also released a short teaser for his album, over new track “I Pray For You” featuring No Malice and Labrinth.

The album marks Pusha’s first in nearly four years, with his Grammy-nominated album DAYTONA being released in 2018. While speaking with Rolling Stone, Pusha explained the double entendre behind It’s Almost Dry.

“I’m always creating a masterpiece and in the creation of that in terms of a painting, you end up telling people while they waiting on it, ‘It’s almost dry,’ because they’re always asking, ‘When will it be done?’ And you have to wait on masterpieces,” he says. “Also in drug culture, a lot of times you’ll have people waiting on the product and it’s not dry yet. You can come get it when it’s dry.”

It’s Almost Dry will also be Pusha’s final release on Def Jam Recordings. In January, the rapper posted pictures on Instagram of a signed contract, while his manager, Steven Victor, verified with Complex that Pusha now has full ownership of his recordings.

Also with Complex, Push said that his new album is “1,000 percent better” than DAYTONA because it’s “more well-rounded. It’s more colorful.”I think DAYTONA was solid. It’s that thing, and I gave you that thing,” he added. “I feel like this one is more well-rounded, with the same amount of greatness, but the bars are better and I push myself as a songwriter.”

It’s Almost Dry releases Friday, April 22nd.
