Robert Glasper details the long-awaited third installment of his Black Radio series.

Nearing a full year since it was initially announced, Robert Glasper is finally filling in the blanks for Black Radio 3. And it turns out, we’re just a few weeks away from the project’s release.

Late last night, the Grammy-winning pianist and producer unveiled a sobering new single from the project, teaming up with Killer Mike, Big K.R.I.T., and BJ The Chicago Kid on “Black Superhero.” Along with the new cut, Glasper shared a long-awaited release date for Black Radio 3, which is out on February 25th via Loma Vista Recordings, as well as the album’s star-studded tracklist, featuring appearances from Q-Tip, Esperanza Spalding, Lalah Hathaway, Common, Musiq Soulchild, De La Soul’s Posdnous, India Arie, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

“Black Superhero” is the third single from the project to arrive in the last year, following “Shine” with D Smoke and Tiffany Gouché, and “Better Than I Imagined” with H.E.R. and Meshell Ndegeocello, which announced Black Radio 3 at the top of 2021.
