INTIMIDATED, a new three-track EP from Kaytranada, is set to arrive this week.

As he approaches the closing leg of an expansive North American tour, Kaytranada has announced his first project in nearly two years.

On Friday, November 19th, the Montreal producer will release INTIMIDATED, a three-track EP featuring collaborations with Thundercat, H.E.R., and Mach-Hommy, respectively, which is a fitting roster given the producer’s recent Soundcloud output. Earlier this year, Kaytra shared his edit of H.E.R.’s “Damage” along with “LALALA,”. a propulsive outtake from the BUBBA sessions featuring the Brainfeeder bassist.

The abbreviated set will mark the official follow-up to the producer’s 2019 sophomore album, BUBBA, which took home a pair of awards at the 63rd annual Grammys; one for “Best Dance Recording” and another for “Best Dance/Electronic Album” (making him the first black artist to win an award in the category.) The historic wins were celebrated with the very temporary release of his earliest mixtapes.

INTIMIDATED will arrive just as Kaytranada enters the final stretch of his “Autumn 21′” tour, which recently added a second night to stops in Austin, Boston, and Toronto ahead of a New Year’s Eve set at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom. You can reserve your stubs via Ticketmaster today.

Scroll on for the full list of tour dates and hold tight for the release of INTIMIDATED this Friday.
