The best new music videos of the week include selections from Kelis, ilham, Robert Glasper, and so much more.

It was a pretty lowkey week for new releases. But even during one of the slower weeks, there is plenty of new music and music videos to tap into. 

This week it was all about the return. We saw a number of artists make their comeback to the scene after an extended break. This includes the legendary Kelis, the versatile Wale, the super gifted musician Robert Glasper, and much more.

Wale & J. Cole — “Poke It Out”

Wale and J. Cole pay homage to Q-Tip’s classic “Vivrant Thing” song and video. It’s great to see these two linking again.

Nas — “Big Nas”

Nas recently announced that he was doing his own MasterClass based around hip-hop storytelling. To celebrate, Nas released another banger with Hit-Boy.

Robert Glasper, D Smoke & Tiffany Gouché — “Shine”

Rober Glasper is getting ready to release his new album, Black Radio 3. The first single is the smooth “Shine” which features D Smoke and Tiffany Gouché.

Kelis — “Midnight Snacks”

After a seven years away, Kelis has returned to releasing music. She just dropped her new single “Midnight Snacks,” which continues Kelis’ tradition of making bangers based on food.

ilham — gang signs

First Look Friday alum illham recently signed with Def Jam. To celebrate, the Queensbridge singer has released the video for her new single “gang signs.”

Meek Mill — “Expensive Pain”

Meek Mill dropped visuals for the title track of his new album.

Cordae — “Super”

Cordae spazzes on the first single from his sophomore album, From A Bird’s Eye View. Check out the video here.

Young M.A — “Crime Poetry”

Young M.A returns to her 2019 albumHerstory In The Making.  She just released the video for album standout “Crime Poetry.”
