NYC-based singer-songwriter Nazanin drops her first big landmark, “Red Light,” after the excellent debut single “Infatuation,” released in 2020. Having grown-up idolizing artists like Selena Quintanilla, Dua Lipa, Sabrina Claudio, Snoh Aalegra, Beyonce, it’s quite clear to find these artists’ influence in Nazanin’s latest release.

The soulfulness and groove that emanate from her voice is mesmerizing, as she creates an enthralling fusion of sounds that stand out throughout the song. Originally from Persian-Jewish descent, Nazanin has had quite an interesting journey growing-up in a conservative family who never really supported her for wanting to become an artist.

Today, she stands fully determined to realize her dreams, and her two debut singles, “Infatuation” and “Red Light” come to prove that she has made the right choice. Her tendency for blending pop with r&b is surely one of her main assets in terms of creating unique soundscapes that powerfully sync with her soothing vocal flow.
