HOUSTON, TX – On the heels of Travis Scott’s first annual turkey drive, he returned to Houston on Tuesday (December 22), playing Santa Claus to put on his Cactus Jack Foundation’s holiday toy drive. With some help from his two-year-old daughter Stormi, La Flame and his foundation ended up helping out more than 2,000 Houston natives throughout the day.

Held at H-Town’s Sunnyside Park, Scott gave out an array of toys, blankets, PPE supplies, clothing, Christmas trees and free food from Turkey Leg Hut Food Truck. Most of the toys were from Mattel, who Scott partnered with in January when designing his own Cactus Jack Hot Wheels car.

About 1,000 students from three elementary schools in the area pulled up, in addition to faculty and local Houston residents as La Flame made the holiday season just a little bit more enjoyable.

A few local politicians even made their way to the event. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, who does have a previous relationship with Scott, was in attendance. Congress members Al Green and Sheila Jackson Lee along with City Council members Carolyn Evans-Shabazz and Edward Pollard also made appearances.

Scott isn’t the only rapper giving back this holiday season. Moneybagg Yo, NLE Choppa, Gunna, Rick Ross and Rowdy Rebel all hosted various toy drives and giveaways helping out their communities this week.

The 28-year-old rager made headlines last week with the launch of CACTI hard seltzer line. The spiked seltzer is expected to launch in the spring of 2021 and come in three flavors: lime, pineapple and strawberry.
