American recording artist Kelsey Delemar, better known under her stage name Kelyes, has just released her debut single, “Not Around,” a song off her upcoming EP Kelyes & the Wave. The young urban artist is, for the first time, exposing her sharp skills as a talented, soulful R&B singer-songwriter, thanks to her ability to convey a wide range of feelings, emotions, and vibes through her extraordinary vocal gift. Her music is malleable, fluid, and flows like water, capturing the essence of nature in every single note she sings. Her savvy blend of modern pop, trapsoul, and 90’s R&B is what separates her from most, and resonates with the listener in a striking synchronicity. Kelyes is simultaneously dominating and subtly smooth on “Not Around,” always finding the perfect equilibrium between the music and her message. Her background in theatre and film helps her find the exact way to express, convey, and share her inspiring sounds and vocals. One of the greatest discoveries of the year, we are delighted to share Kelyes’ music with our audience, while we wait for Kelyes & The Wave to be out.
