Gunna looks to Young Thug as his YSL Records label boss, but evidently that’s not all.

In a new feature for Interview Magazine published on Tuesday (May 26), Thugger switched roles and sat in the interviewer chair to chat with his signee. Amid talking about Gunna’s new album Wunna, the question of “best rapper alive” came up and the “Drip Too Hard” rapper gave it to Thug without question.

“It would have to be you, Slime, on god,” Gunna said. “You make the most songs out of everybody. Anybody can rap and make songs, but you’re making real songs. It’s hard to do that. I understand it because I make songs, too.”

Gunna is currently poised to have the No. 1 album in the country next week as of Sunday (May 24). The Atlanta native’s sophomore effort, is estimated to sell between 110,000 to 130,000 total album equivalent units and features appearances from Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch and, of course, Thug himself.
