New York, NY – 50 Cent appeared to get the last laugh after NYPD Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez — the cop who allegedly told his fellow officers to shoot the Power exec “on sight” — was demoted. Fiddy headed to Instagram on Wednesday (March 4) to gloat about the news.

“Remember this guy Commanding officer Gonzalez from the 72 percinct,” he captioned the post. “They bust his ass down to auxiliary no more Strap just a flash light and badge.LOL HaHahahahahaha.”

According to the New York Post, Gonzalez was transferred to the NYPD’s Auxiliary Police Section, which is considered a demotion from his former position as the commanding officer of Sunset Park’s 72nd Precinct in Brooklyn.

In June 2018, Gonzalez, allegedly told officers to “shoot him on sight” during roll call at the 72nd Precinct stationhouse but was let off the hook last August. The NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau couldn’t prove it was a legitimate threat  — and 50 wasn’t surprised.

“I knew they were not going to do anything about this, so I stop talking about it,” he wrote in a since-deleted post. “NYPD is hands down the toughest gang in New York. You just gotta be ready for what ever. You know the vibes.”
