Young Thug has turned down Sauce Walka’s offer to settle their beef in a boxing match. After the Sauce Twinz member issued a challenge Instagram on Saturday (April 11), Thugger commented on the post to reject his rival’s invitation.
“U need to put that money into ya homies, build your label up,” Thug wrote in response to Walka flashing cash. “I’m sure it’s niggas around u without, put them niggas to work too..boss up lil brother… I don’t want no smoke with u. BTW I SPENT THAT ON GROCERIES THIS MONTH.”
Walka’s challenge also called out YouTube personalities Jake and Logan Paul, who’ve competed in celebrity boxing matches. The Houston-bred artist specifically named Thug in the post’s caption but offered to fight any rappers he’s beefed with in the past.
“NO MORE GUN VIOLENCE IN 2020,” he wrote. “let’s FIGHTS any of my famous ‘ OUTS ‘ are welcome to join or the Grease is over cause u ‘ SCARY ‘ so we can all be friends @thuggerthugger1 @thuggerthugger1 WHOEVA FUCKED UP WIT ME THAT ME THAT’s FAMOUS OR I OFFICIALLY QUIT AND AND SQUASH IT ‼️ WE CAN PUNCH FOR THE FANS‼️”
Tensions between Thug and Walka hit a boiling point in 2019. Thugger’s beef with the Sauce Twinz member even led to him chastising 2 Chainz for speaking positively about his foe.
The two often exchanged disses on social media as Walka spouted homophobic insults and referred to Thug as a “transvestite.” Thugger once claimed he’d slap Walka, which provoked mockery of the YSL Records founder’s boxing technique.
