Young Thug was noncommittal when asked about his relationship with Gunna.

However, he did offer a solid answer when asked why he grew apart from another rapper, the late Rich Homie Quan.

“We became our own bosses and men,” he said.  “And then we didn’t want to keep doing the Rich Gang Albums. We were getting bigger so I wanted to do my own sh*t.  I think he did.  I was OK with it because I love music but I don’t care about the song.  I’ll have a number one hit record song, and I’ll put you on it.  I don’t care.  It’s just like, so what? Whoever goes to the top with you goes to the top.  I never was the guy who cared about that stuff.  So I would have been OK with keep doing it.  We still dropping our own music at the same time doing that … some people just do things.  Make mistakes.”

Do you believe Thugger when he says it was Quan who wanted to end their partnership?

RHQ isn’t around to give his side of the story.
