Young Thug was noncommittal when asked about his relationship with Gunna.

However, he did offer a solid answer when asked why he grew apart from another rapper, the late Rich Homie Quan.

“We became our own bosses and men,” he said. Ā “And then we didn’t want to keep doing the Rich Gang Albums. We were getting bigger so I wanted to do my own sh*t. Ā I think he did. Ā I was OK with it because I love music but I don’t care about the song. Ā I’ll have a number one hit record song, and I’ll put you on it. Ā I don’t care. Ā It’s just like, so what? Whoever goes to the top with you goes to the top. Ā I never was the guy who cared about that stuff. Ā So I would have been OK with keep doing it. Ā We still dropping our own music at the same time doing that … some people just do things. Ā Make mistakes.”

Do you believe Thugger when he says it was Quan who wanted to end their partnership?

RHQ isn’t around to give his side of the story.
