Wiki Announces New Navy Blue-Produced Album ‘Half God,’ feat. Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, duendita, and More
Hear two new singles from the upcoming Wiki album.
Wiki has announced a new album, Half God, will arrive next month.
Produced entirely by Navy Blue, the incoming project will mark the NYC rapper’s second studio outing of 2021, following Telephonebooth, a collaborative album with drummer and producer Nah. Out on October 1st via Wiki’s own Wikset Enterprise imprint, Half God will feature appearances from Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, duendita, Remy Banks, and more.
Alongside the announcement, Wiki offered a glimpse at the project with the release of two new cuts, “Roof,” and “Remarkably.” The former single is showcased in a city-honoring and eagle-eyed visual, directed by Nicholas Stafford Briggs. The tracks arrive on the heels of “Started Today” and “Never Know,” two blazing one-offs released earlier this year that may have signaled the rapper was prepping his next chapter. While not technically a solo project, Half God will serve as a follow-up proper to the rapper’s 2019 album, Oofie, which featured contributions from Denzel Curry, Your Old Droog, Princess Nokia and others.
As for Blue, Half God is the second full project of the year produced by the versatile artist. Blue also handled the production on AKAI SOLO’s stellar, True Sky, which landed at the top of the season to critical and pedestrian praise.
