As we reported yesterday, YFN Lucci received a plea deal for the 2020 killing of a man named James Adams.
Adams was shot to death in a car Lucci was driving and then dumped on the side of the road. Police believe the shots came from another car.
Lucci had been in Georgia’s Fulton Country Jail for three years and was charged with murder and racketeering.
But those charges were dropped, and Lucci pled guilty to one count of violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
He was sentenced to ten years in prison and ten years of probation, while being credited with three years of time served. But the rapper is expected to be released after just 3-and-a-half months.
He also apologized to Adam’s family while in court.

“First off, I wanna say my heart goes out to my friend, James Adams, and his family,” he said. “Also, I wanna apologize to my family and my friends for putting them through this stressful process. I would also like to apologize to the court. That’s it.”
Yesterday, Lucci’s lawyer made it clear that his client won’t be testifying in the Young Thug, YSL trial, despite the crew threatening him, which is part of the prosecution’s case.
