Lil Jay has had a tough time lately.
He got out of prison last year after serving about seven years of his 14-year bid for murder.
But the Chicago rapper was locked up again after a domestic violence incident in which he broke his girlfriend’s jaw and pointed a gun at his mother-in-law.
Not long after that he caught pneumonia and was hospitalized. Â When he recovered enough to return to GP he was violently attacked by another inmate after a shower. Â In an attempt to escape the beating he jumped from an elevated tier, landing awkwardly and badly breaking his leg, and was briefly using a wheelchair.
It looks like he’s no longer in the chair.
It also looks like he’s found love in prison.
