Golden State super fan E-40 made the short trip to Sacramento to see his Warriors’ play the Kings in Game 1 of the first round

He didn’t make it to see his team lose in the end.

He was ejected from the game in the fourth quarter.

He says his race played a role in the ejection.

“Kings security approached me, assumed I instigated the encounter and proceeded to kick me out of the arena,” he said. “Unfortunately, it was yet another reminder that — despite my success and accolades as a musician and entrepreneur — racial bias remains prevalent. Security saw a disagreement between a Black man and a white woman and immediately assumed that I was at fault.”
