Los Angeles, CA – Usher has captivated audiences with spectacular dance moves to pad his widely successful music career.
Thanks to an upcoming series on Quibi, the unique mobile platform-in-the-making, his skills will be the litmus test for a new generation of dancers.
The 41-year-old Grammy Award-winner will join Hip Hop dance duo Ayo & Teo as a judge and executive producer for The Sauce, a competition show that treks all across the country in search of the hottest talent.
“Dance continues to drive much of our popular culture in increasingly more meaningful ways, and I can’t wait to help these young dancers express their extraordinary talent and vision,” Usher said in a statement. “I’m excited to be working with Quibi and The FRONT, who share my vision for cutting-edge, culture-forward content and have created an innovative platform to recognize incredibly gifted dancers from across the nation.”
The FRONT is an all-female documentary production studio founded by Thalia Mavros in 2016 and has developed projects for top platforms such as Spotify, National Geographic and SundanceTV.
Along with Usher, Mavros will serve as executive producer with Krista Manis and Anna Pass.
The Quibi launch will coincide with The Sauce’s premiere on April 6, 2020.
