The reviews for Tyler, The Creator’s new album Chromakopia are mixed.

But there’s nothing mixed about it’s performance on DSPs.

Tyler’s decision to release the album on Monday, rather than the traditional Friday, has paid off.

Chromakopia had the biggest first day on Spotify for a hip hop debut in 2024, and the 16th biggest all time.

It will almost certainly finish number one for the week on the album chart, despite giving up three days.
