The four members of Slaughterhouse will probably never get together again for various reasons. Joe Budden no longer rapping is one of them. 

But two members of the supergroup linked up for a joint project, Joell Ortiz  and KXNG Crooked. Their album is called H.A.R.D., and they just dropped the first single of the same name. The entire project is dedicated to Fred the Godson, who recently passed away from COVID-19 complications.

  

“It felt great to catch up with my bro and chop it up,” Joell told Complex. “We’re like long lost cousins. Crook and I grew up 2,800 miles apart under the same conditions. Poverty, struggle, injustice, etc. Whenever we get together we have rap discussions and world talks that almost always turn into legendary childhood stories. This time was no different, except, this time we ended up in the vocal booth. This is ‘H.A.R.D.’ (Housing Authority Rap District). Enjoy!!!”

The LP is dropping on May 29. Some of the producers include Heatmakerz, Erick Sermon, the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Apollo Brown and !llMind.
