It looks like YK Osiris was just trolling instead of holding on to that promise he kept about not flaunting his money entering the new year.

The Def Jam signee took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (January 5) to show off the expensive new haircut he just received. In the story, Osiris checks out his taper fade with a cheeky smile stamped across his face. As he continues to marvel at the excellent job the barber did on the cut, Osiris told fans the ridiculous price he allegedly paid for it.

“This what a $1000 cut look like,” he said with a glistening smile. He then turns the camera and tosses the stack of crisp bills at the barber.

SayCheeseTV shared the story on their Instagram page, which led people to roast the “Worth It” rapper.

“I got the same cut for $10,” said one person while another wrote, “Wasn’t he just talking about not flexing shit now look at him.”

“My shit be sharper than that and I only pay 20,” a different person said.

Last week, Osiris took to his Stories and told fans he sold his expensive cars and bought a Hyundai instead. The collection included a Lamborghini, a Rolls-Royce and several Cadillacs. Osiris explained he did it to humble himself, feeling that he no longer had to flaunt his money.

“I ain’t gotta floss for you niggas man. Y’all gon’ think what y’all wanna think. If I do got it, don’t got it, y’all gon’ think what y’all wanna think,” he said. “I love this Hyundai. Shit, I ain’t riding a fucking Lamborghini, I ain’t gotta floss for you niggas. That’s what’s wrong with you niggas, y’all feel like you gotta floss for the Instagram. Man, fuck them man, y’all don’t need to floss for no dumb ass Instagram.”
