The first week numbers for Travis Scott’s Utopia have been all over the place.

Initial projections had Scott challenging the 538K his last album Astroworld did first week.

However, the project’s final first-week sales were initially posted at 400K at HitsDailyDouble.

Now  Billboard has weighed in, and their final accounting is 496K for Utopia.

We imagine the discrepancy is due to Scott’s use of bundles.

The 496K is easily the biggest rap debut of 2023 and the third-biggest overall debut of 2023, trialing the 716K Taylor Swift did for her Speak Now re-release and the 501K Morgan Wallen put up for One Thing At At Time.
