The next Verzuz match takes place on Sunday, May 30.

Looks like Timbaland and Swizz Beatz are having a Verzuz rematch this weekend. The social media accounts for the series announced on Tuesday that the two’s rematch will be taking place on Sunday, May 30.

Swizz and Timbaland served as the very first matchup for their series back on March 24 last year.

Verzuz still has some unannounced matchups left for the year. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Swizz and Timbaland had sold their battle series to the Triller Network for an undisclosed sum. The two producers became primary shareholders in the network and, as a part of the deal, some of the artists who participated in the series have received stakes of their equity, too.

“There is no more disruptive and innovative brand in music today than Verzuz,” Bobby Sarnevesht, Triller’s executive chairman and co-owner, said. “[Both brands] share the ‘artist first, music first’ vision. We view this acquisition as more of a partnership than an acquisition, as Swizz, Timbaland and the other 43 artists who are all becoming shareholders and partners in Triller Verzuz from this day forward become our voice.”

In a recent interview with Variety, Sarnevesht also spoke about the possibility of doing a Verzuz live show, saying: “Obviously this is all in the planning stages, but we’re already talking to live venues about doing several residencies in different cities.”
