Thundercat’s fourth solo album, It Is What It Is, is scheduled to arrive on Friday (April 3). Ahead of its release, the Los Angeles-bred musician has shared the final single “Innerstellar Love.”

The track follows the previously released songs “Fair Chance” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Lil B, “Dragonball Durag” and “Black Qualls” with The Internet’s Steve Lacy, Childish Gambino and Slave icon Steve Arrington.

It Is What It Is serves as the follow-up to 2017’s Drunk. The 15-track project also boasts additional features from Louis Cole, Zack Fox and Pedro Martins.

“This album is about love, loss, life and the ups and downs that come with that,” he said in a press release. “It’s a bit tongue-in-cheek, but at different points in life you come across places that you don’t necessarily understand… some things just aren’t meant to be understood.”
