A boutique Japanese clothing brand is set to release a pair of slides with the iconic insignia of MF DOOM.

For decades now, MF DOOM has inspired, or more deliberately brought to market, some of hip-hop’s most coveted collectibles. Whether it be sneakers, clothing, action figures, or even AR wearables, the late villain of rap has been an unstoppable force of merchandising well beyond his passing. But that hasn’t stopped brands, both stateside and abroad, from saluting the enigmatic rapper and producer.

The latest tip of the hat comes by way of BLOHM, a boutique Japanese clothing company readying a fittingly regal tribute to MF DOOM in the form of a must-cop slide. Announced last night via Instagram (see below,) the brand’s “Paradox” sandal features a royal green Birkenstock-style platform with a metallic mask strap that bears an uncanny resemblance to DOOM’s iconic face covering. The slide will come in both silver and black colorways when it drops in March. Brick and mortar stockists for BLOHM’s collections are few and far between (especially on this side of the pond.) However, you can keep an eye on Supply Tokyo, ZOZOTOWN, and DEEPINSIDE, for the pre-order and drop in the weeks ahead.

Catch a glimpse of BLOHM’s incoming MF DOOM slides below. Hold tight for their release in March.
