DJ Envy’s real estate business partner, Cesar Pina, was arrested for fraud earlier this week for fraud.
Envy has also been implicated in the alleged Ponzi scheme but has not been charged.
There were reports that federal agents raided the Breakfast Club’s host office at iHeartRadio and removed electronic equipment.
However, they proved to be false. The agents did show up. But it was to inform Envy that his partner had been arrested.
Envy’s lawyer insists he’s innocent and is another victim of Pina.
Amid this, iHeartRadio has posted a job opening for a Breakfast Club host.
According to iheartmedia website they are looking to hire a new Cohost for the breakfast club. The job reportedly pays between $240k to $330k a year. iHeart has been ostensibly looking for another host since Angela Yee announced she was leaving the show last year.
But none of this can make Envy comfortable.
