New York, NY – Tekashi 6ix9ine has become increasingly more visible since being released from house arrest earlier this month. After shooting a video for “Punani” in his hometown of Brooklyn, he headed to a New Jersey Mall where he was continually harassed and followed by fellow shoppers who recognized him.

He then posed for pictures with several children and their parents on the streets of New York City — sans mask. 6ix9ine was back at it over the weekend but this time, a man called him out to fight and all hell broke loose. In a clip of the incident, the man rolls by in his car and recognizes the controversial rapper.

As they exchange words, the man says, “What happened big man? Don’t act tough, nigga. Don’t act tough, pussy. Don’t act tough, nigga. I put you on lock. Suck a dick. Three million, nigga? You pussy. Fight me, fight me, fight me.”

New York City goon almost gets shot after #6ix9ine security team takes his phone for talking sh*t and recording 6ix9ine ???

From there, the video shows the man and a member of 6ix9ine’s security team wrestling over the man’s phone. The man yells, “Give me my fuckin’ phone, bro! Give me my phone. Give me phone. Record this shit! Give me my phone, bro! This nigga! You still pussy!” At the same time, a woman in the background repeats, “Don’t shoot!”

Of course, that was all it took for 6ix9ine to ridicule the man on social media. His popped up in the comment section with a series of laughing emojis and the words, “DON’T SHOOT DON’T SHOOT. ‘Give me my phone.’”

6ix9ine appears to be teetering a fine line. He presumably wants to resume life as it was pre-quarantine and pre-prison, but there are several risks factors that put his life in jeopardy every time he steps outside.

In addition to possibly contracting COVID-19, his “Snitch9ine” reputation could eventually catch up to him. But at this point, it doesn’t seem the 24-year-old has a care in the world. His post-prison career has already yielded a No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit and millions of YouTube views, making him feel unstoppable — something he reminds his haters every chance he gets.
