A little after he was seen brawling inside a store, Joey Bada$$ was accused of dissing Kendrick Lamar and West Coast rap in his newly released freestyle “The Ruler’s Back.”

“Too much West Coast d*ck lickin,” rapped Joey, using a line from JAY-Z’s song “22 Twos.”

“This that black Air Force energy,” he also spit, which many thought was a reference to the cover of Kendrick’s “Watch the Party Die” song.

TDE rapper Ray Vaughn responded to Joey with his freestyle, “Crashout Heritage.”

“What’s with the sneak dissing? Taking shots at us then hide the Uzi / ‘Cause the only badass the world was recognizing is Boosie / Please don’t get confused with shooting them movies with really shooting,” raps Ray over the instrumental to Dot’s “heart pt. 6.”
