Things are not good between Reason and his label TDE.

Earlier this month, Reason accused TDE of botching his album rollout.

Moosa, the son of TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith Sr, clapped back at that by revealing that TDE never even wanted to sign Reason and called him a “substitute teacher.”

In a new interview with Rory and Mal, Reason explained that nobody from TDE attended the release party for Porches.

“That’s what I thought was going to be the weirdest part,” he said of his expectations of meeting with label execs at the release party. “But it ended up not being as bad. I had a release party, and nobody showed up from the label, so.”

Reason believes the label was just trying to give him his space.  If it’s something deeper, he doesn’t know because he hasn’t talked to them about it.
