Snoop Dogg reprimanded Lil Wayne over the YoungMoney rapper being disappointed that Kendrick Lamar is playing the Super Bowl and not him.

In September, Weezy posted a teary-eyed video of himself expressing how hurt he was at not being selected. The game is in his hometown of New Orleans, so Wayne assumed that he was a shoe-in.

Snoop gave his comments on the Super Bowl in a recent Drink Champs interview with Dr. Dre and basically told Wayne to stop complaining. [Jump to the 13:31 mark]

“I was never crying about it or mad about it. When Dr. Dre called me and asked me to get his back, I was there for him,” said Snoop about playing the 2022 Super Bowl with Dre, Kendrick Lamar and others. “But I didn’t feel like I was supposed to be there or in demand to be there … This is a big event. People look at everything when they pick the person to perform. You should just be honored that Hip Hop is being able to be seen on that platform, for all of us, and not hate on the next man, but be happy.”

What’s your reaction to Snoop’s words?
