New York, NY – Skyzoo is admittedly “furious” after Oscar-winning director Spike Lee claimed he’s “being harassed” by New York Knicks owner James Dolan.

Lee made the revelation during a recent interview with Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman on EPSN’s First Take and said he wouldn’t be attending another Knicks game this year following an incident at Madison Square Gardens.

On Tuesday (March 3), the Retropolitan scribe shared his thoughts on Instagram, threatening to become a Brooklyn Nets fan if Lee is disrespected.

“Random clarity on something: y’all know I’m a die hard Knicks fan, from BK but doesn’t rock with the Nets. Vowed never to do so. Watching this @FirstTake x Spike Lee piece, the ONE THING that’ll take me from [Knicks] to [Nets] is if they break Spike. I’m furious for my brother Spike.”

He added in the caption, “I stand with my big bro and superhero @officialspikelee forever. Y’all know that. I’m outraged that our bum ass owner would treat him in any disrespectful manner. Let the #Knicks play if they want, I’ll molly wop they ass in every song I pen from here on out. Sincerely, a die hard Knicks fan who’s looking at the Barclay’s center in a new light.”

While speaking to ESPN, Lee  — who’s repped the Knicks for decades — said he’d been using the employee entrance at Madison Square Gardens for 20 years but a month ago, they stopped him from going down the ramp. During Monday’s (March 2) game, he reportedly got into an argument with officials over the use of an elevator.

“All of a sudden, they said it was a new policy — out of nowhere!” he explained. “Here’s the thing, if they have my phone number, text, email … let me know. It’s not my fault there’s a policy change, which wasn’t used Wednesday [February 26] because I used the employee entrance Wednesday! When did the policy change?”

The Knicks issued an official statement regarding the incident, saying the fact Lee is painting himself a victim is “laughable.”

Despite Lee’s concerns, it does appear the Knicks are switching things up. In addition to the policy change Lee mentioned, Hip Hop mogul Steve Stoute recently signed on with the Knicks to be their branding consultant.
