That didn’t take long.

Just a couple of days after Nicki Minaj dissed Shannon Sharpe on the remix to Lil Wayne’s song, “Banned from NO,” Sharpe apologized to her.

The New York rapper’s diss had to do with Sharpe asking “Nicki who?” when someone said Nicki should be on his Club Shay Shay show.

Here’s how Nicki dissed him in “Banned from NO:”

“Bout to cop you slides, all you do is flip-flop / If I send a pic of Shannon, you ain’t that Sharpe.”

“I was talking about Nikki Haley,” Sharpe said to Nicki on his show, Nightcap. “Nicki, I was not trying to be disrespectful. Of course I know who you are. I would be remiss to say that I thought you knew who I was, or that you knew anything about Club Shay Shay. I’m not that arrogant.”

“Nicki, I apologize,” he continued. “I meant no disrespect. You’ll always have an open invitation if you ever want to come sit down and have a conversation.”

Nicki hasn’t responded to Sharpe publicly, but maybe they spoke in private.
